Popular sandwich chain Panera Bread Co. is expanding its “Panera Cares” line of pay-what-you-can “community cafes” to the west coast, with their third location opening in Portland.”

We need more of this kind of giving. Things are really difficult for some of us and the government is playing hardball more and more. So it has to come from the private sector, retail business, etc.
